Set a Watch- Swords of the Coin: Rapid Review

Set a Watch - Swords of the Coin: Rapid Review Rundown : Set a Watch is a fully cooperative tower defence (line defence) game. Where players are managing through dice allocation to prepare for the round(s) ahead in the camp phase, then defeat the onslaught of enemies in the watch phase. Each character will have two camp phases throughout the game. Every other character will fight during the watch phase.  Camp Phase: Once players have agreed on who is going to camp, that character will now start the camp phase.  At the start of the camp phase the camp character will un-exhaust one of their abilities and un-exhaust all their exhausted items. The location for the round will also be revealed changing the campfire, determining how many enemies will be in the line and applying a special condition or eff...

Introduction : Crayne is a deck-building where players are creating synergies of attack power to eliminate their opponents. For the full review click here. One of the best elements of alteration is the variable setup that comes from selecting which factions are in play, this is more important in the lower player counts. Mercenary of Mindassa adds two more factions to the game to increase this variability but also adds a new mercenary deck which removes the static mercenary stacks and instead creates a constant flow of new mercenaries. New Factions: The Hive: The ...

Crayne: Fractured Empire - Review Information: Mechanics:  Player Elimination, Head to Head, Deck Building, Simultaneous  Player Age: 12+ Player Count:  1 - 6  Players Time to Play:  30 - 90 Minutes  Publisher : Krunchy Games Game Designer: Chris Fielder Game Artist: Matthew Burger, Devin Hoyt, Luiz Prado Year Published: 2021 BGG Weight: 2.00 Disclaimer: A review copy for the game was provided by the publisher. Introduction : Deck building and head to head games are two of my favourite genres in board games. So I love when they are combined well. For my collection Shards of Infinity, Command of Nature and Power Rangers Deck Building Game come to mind instantly.  Is Crayne going to be a new addition to this prestige? Crayne interestingly slows down the decision space by having each card played one at a time out of a hand of three cards, but speeds up the pace by mostly being simultaneous.  In Crayne Fractured Empire, players are bu...
