Viticulture Levity Stickers: Review

Viticulture Levity Stickers: Review

Introduction:

Viticulture is one of Stonemaier Games’ classic worker placement games about running a vineyard and converting grapes into wine. For a review of the base game click this link. Today we are reviewing stickers by Levity Games that covers the meeples and other wooden components in the game.

Stickers:

Levity Games have designed stickers covering much of the components included in Viticulture. These include the meeples, buildings and other wooden tokens. The meeples include representations of both female and male workers with unique items detailed on each of the five meeple workers.

The meeples and building have vibrant art that really brings these wooden pieces to life and both are colour coded to match the team they represent. One particualy interesting sticker is the cork that needs to be wrapped around the wooden token.

Expansion Consideration:

I don't yet own the Tuscany expansion for Viticulture so i cannot speak to the stickers for that expansion but this package of stickers includes ones for the base game, the few pieces added in viticulture world and all the wooden pieces added in Tuscany, including the stars and special workers.

Intergration to the Game:

Something i recently learnt is that Viticulture has resized it’s meeples in between printing. Levity games could have simply created a one size fits all sticker that wouldn't look as full on the larger versions. Instead the printed meeple stickers are sized for all four differences and also have included a reference sheet for users to determine which version their meeple fits into.

Final Thoughts:

- Vibrant enhancement to the meeples and wooden components.

- Considers the size difference in the meeples between printing.

- Covers all the expansion content for the game.

- Unique sticker wrap on the cork.

Viticulture is a game I always enjoy when I play it. Levity Games has further enhanced the already great table presence with the addition of these vibrant stickers. It covers all the wooden components in the base game and the expansions and gives each player colour a slightly matching flair.  One of the fantastic considerations Levity Games did was decide on having multiple sizes to fit all the printings instead of merely doing a one-size-fits-all sticker that will leave some prints lacking. Now everyone gets to enhance thier games to the fullest with this choice. If you enjoy Viticulture and love enhancing your games to the fullest then these stickers are well worth the addition. Now I just need to get the metal coins and Tuscany expansion for Viticulture and I can consider this game completely upgraded.
