Introductions:

Aggretsuko is a popular Netflix series starring a red panda who has to let out the frustrations of her accounting job by singing heavy metal. This funkoverse set is an expansion and not a standalone set as it only contains one character. This is the only set to come out of this series and the gems contained are bright pink.

Character:

Aggretsuko:

Resources: Red and Yellow

Defence: 2

Ability Cost: 1-3

Aggretsuko normally has to contain her rage but in Funkoverse she is finally allowed to unleash it. Her trait will give her a rage token that will go onto the player's cooldown track. Two of her moves will focus on this rage, either letting the player move equal to the rage or attacking with it. This rage will still move down at the end of every round, so Aggretsuko has to perform basic actions like moving, assisting, and interacting to build the rage. Moving the token two spaces on the track every time a basic action is performed.

Item:

Chainsaw:

The chainsaw is for any character that likes to get close and personal with their attacks or as a good way to counter-balance characters that are focused purely on range attacks. When performing a melee attack the player can place this card on the second spot of the cool-down track to add two dice to the attack.

Final Thoughts:

- Small amount of content.

- Rage acts as another resource players have to manage but can lead to great attacks at a low cost.

These small expansions don't cover too much but give players a small way to expand their collection, often with characters that don't have enough content for a larger set. Aggretsuko is a fun character that gives a new resource for players to manage. If they don't utilise this rage frequently enough then it will fade as the rounds pass but in the same breath you don't want to waste her moves when your rage is low, so sometimes you will find yourself pushing a basic action to make her other action stronger. If you are a fan of Aggretsuko than this a simple addition to your collection.
