Objective:

The Deadlies is a card shedding game where you have to empty your hand of cards three times. Your hand size will start at is but this will decrease by two every time you are successful at emptying your hand. Your opponents won't allow this to happen though and they will constantly be aiming to add cards to our hand.

Card Anatomy:

Wickedness:

Wickedness is your hand size. It will begin at six and will decrease by two every time you empty your hand. Once you have reached zero you have won the game.

Deadly Cards:

These are the cards players are aiming to get rid of. There are seven suites each numbered from one to seven. Each suite has a special ability that will activate if it's the card on top of the cards you play on your turn.

Special Cards:

There are two special cards the purity card and the corruption card. There are only one of each of these in the game. The purity has no suit and a number of zero but will give you the halo that will let you discard your whole hand. The corruption card counts as a wild card and has a value of eight.

How to Play:

Each player will grab their wickedness token and place the six pointing at themselves. Remove the halo from the deck and place it to the side. Then shuffle the deck of cards and deal each player six cards.

On your turn, you will play a set of cards in one of three ways then activate the special effect of the top card. You can play as many cards as you want of:

- The same suit

- The same number

- A run of consecutive numbers

Whenever a player empties their hand they will rotate their wickedness token down and draw the new value of cards shown on the token.

Final Thoughts:

Pros:

- Great art

- Quick to learn and play

- Lot of player interaction

- Many ways to remove cards from your hand

Cons:

- The decisions on your turns are limited.

The Deadlies is a fun family game in the vein of classic card games like Uno and Phase 10.  The main interaction from deadlies is that you will be forcing players or yourself to draw cards in different ways. Deadlies is a light hearted game that is great as a filler or a game that feels classic to play with people who aren't familiar with games.
