Objective:

'NObjects' is a new twist on the charades genre, where one player at a time will try to have players guess their word by drawing the object with their fingers on the table. No words or gestures allowed.

Setup:

- Each coloured deck (green, yellow and red) will be shuffled individually; these represent the difficulty of easy, medium and hard, respectively.
- Place the die in reach of all players.
- Use a timer or electronic device to keep track of time; set this timer to 60 seconds.
- Choose a start player.

How to to Play:

Starting with the first player and continuing to the left, each player will have a turn as the drawer until one player has gained a total of six points. On your turn you will take a card from one of the decks based on the points you currently have. To elaborate, if you have 0-1 points then you will draw from the green deck; at 2-4 points you will draw from the yellow deck, and at 5 points you will draw from the harder red deck. Once you have your card, roll the dice to correspond with a number on the card. This is the clue you will be drawing. Start the timer. Now all players are able to guess, if any player guesses correctly then both you and the guesser will receive a point. If you fail in the time set, then you will discard the card and not gain a point this turn.

The rules with drawing are easy: no talking, no gestures other than drawing with your finger, no drawing letters or numbers, and you are allowed multiple drawings.

Final Thoughts:

Pros:
- Unique twist on the charade genre of party games.
- Plenty of variability with 120 cards and 6 clues on each card.
- The party game has a good pacing.

Cons:
- Due to the guessers receiving points for guessing correctly where only 6 points needed, the majority of points can be gained through guessing before you even have a turn to draw.

This is a fun change on other charade games. With drawing, the guessing players really have to be involved to see the patterns that are being created. This is a great party game that will keep the players attention the whole time and will often leave them wanting more. The only suggestion would be that if you’re keeping track of points then I recommend playing at the higher player count to keep the points spread across many guessers and therefore a longer game.
