Objective:

The objective is simple, gain the most points over the course of five rounds by either guessing players creations correctly or having your creations guessed correctly. So, let's hope you're the next Michelangelo.

Setup:

- place the voting board in the middle
- deal each player a set of voting cards, these differ by colour
- give everyone some playdough, after all, you can't be an artist without your material.

How to Play:

This game is played in real time, so there will be no separate turns for the players. The game consists of two phases; the sculpt phase and the match phase.

The Sculpt Phase:
Each player is dealt a card to see what they are trying to get the opponents to guess. Then, everyone has 30 seconds to sculpt this creation with the playdough. Easy right? Wrong! The catch is that you cannot use any letters or numbers, and all of the words are dirty. This sounds fun but you cannot have any naughtiness in the creation, so stay @$#%@#% clean people!!!

The Match Phase:
Each players sculpt card is given to the dealer, who shuffles these and adds extra cards from the deck to equal six cards in total. Then these six are dealt face up on the board with one card under each number (see image below). In 60 seconds, each player will place their vote cards face down in front of the other players to assign which creation belongs to them (the vote card corresponds to the number on the board that the sculpture is sitting in). To score, each player will gain one point for every guess they got correct, and  one point for every player that thought you were an artist and guessed your creation correctly.

Final Thoughts:

Pros:
- delivers the fun at two players
- the time limit helps balance out players who normally have a creative advantage
- helps your creative flow to think of clean sculptures

Cons:
- scoring doesn't work at two players
- quite chaotic at six players

The first thing players will want to do is increase the timer, but I would not advise this as it allows everyone to stay equal in how bad the sculptures turn out. 'Brown Chicken, Brown Cow' isn't about creating the best masterpiece, it's about having to think on the fly and find a way to match the impossible word you were given. This can be easy like turning 'hooters' into an owl, but can be hard like finding a way to cleanly sculpt ‘vajajay'. If you're looking for a fun party game for smaller player counts then this is highly recommended, after all, who doesn't like playing with playdough and hearing dirty words.
