Release Date: 2017

Setup:

Each round one person from the group will act as the dealer, where the role of the dealer will rotate to another player after a round. Each other player will receive a player card which are identified by the border surrounding the edge of the card. Player cards have three identifiable traits:
Shape: Circle, square, or  triangle.
Colour: Green, Orange or purple.
Bug: Ladybug, fly or no bug.

How to Play:

At the chosen pace of the dealer they will flip the deck of oddly shaped cats. The other players will aim to slap each card that matches at least one element of their player card. The first player to slap will win the card (even if the card doesn't match any elements).
Easy right, so how do you score these kittens?

Scoring and ending game:

In between the swap of the dealer, each player will count the cats they have slapped. Each cat matching an element to the player card will score that player 1 point and each cat that does not match that player will loose a point. Now keep score of these points somewhere as all the cards will be reshuffled together a new dealer will begin and re-deal player cards. The game will end once each player has been a dealer and the player with the most points totalled over all rounds will win the game.

Final Thoughts:

Pros:
  • Fun and quick
  • It was a nice breather to be the designated card flipper
Cons:
  • If you don't like speed or games you have the chance of your being slapped, this may not be the game for you
While reading the rules it seemed that there would be a lull of boredom whenever a player had to be the designated flipper, however, being the dealer allowed each player a break and a chance regain their energy. This is a fun and frantic game where as soon as the cards are flipped an onslaught of chaos ensues. Be warned though, there is always one player who slaps harder than a raging bull, can your hand (and the table) escape unscathed?
