How to Play:

Imagine your a zombie out for his daily food of 13 brains, And pesky humans keep shooting you and making you loose the food you have gathered. Well that's what zombie dice is all about the base game has 3 colours of increasing difficulty, green (easy), yellow (meduim) and red (hard). Now imagine as this zombie you have successfully mastered these types of humans and wanted to expand your horizon on your hunt for brains. Well that's where this expansion, out of the two potential zombie dice expansions comes in. In this expansion there's the hottie (pink), hunk (white), and santa ( red background and white images). To add these 3 new dice you first have to take some out to balance the game, and these will be two yellows and one green. So let's first chat about santa, who I see as a zombie santa delivering brains to zombie kids and adults alike, as this dice is even better than the green dice it delivers a feast of good luck, with one side being 2 brains, a helmet which means you can take 1 more shot before busting, a energy drink which makes your zombie faster and as a result any green dice with a running symbol turns into a brains symbol. Sometimes even Santa has a bad day and will shoot you like any other dice but that's just luck of the dice even the green dice can instantly null and void your turn.

The hottie is one of the fastest dice as 3 sides has the running symbol on her at least one more than any other dice, now the hunk is very strong as he can do two shots on one side of the dice. Now as hard as this dice is, it's also rewarding when it comes to your starvation as the hunk can give you two brains on one of the sides. One more thing to note about this expansion is if you got brains for any of the other two dice in this set banked away and get a shot from one of the other characters well bad luck because you now face the wrath and lose those brains for this turn and the dice goes back in the box. It doesn't happen with Santa's two special sides as they are presents and not brains. This adds a new layer of push your luck as you can now lose brains you have already gained that turn.

Final Thoughts:

Now to rate expansions I am going to rate them on how much I would play them, as to me a good expansion gets played everytime you play the game, as it just adds variety and enhances the base game. So the five dice rating would go like this. 1 dice: This expansion doesn't exist to me and I won't play with it.
2 dice: would only play this expansion with people that have a very good understanding of the base game.
3 dice: would recommend this expansion but not play with new players all the time.
4 dice: would play with this expansion most of the time.
5 dice: should be part of the base game, will play with everytime even if the players are new.

Verdict:  Now for this expansion I give it 3.5 dice as I really enjoy this expansion, but because this game is so simple I often play this game with kids or as a filler, and as a filler I use the expansion mostly everytime but with kids the other dice saving brains can add a complexity that I don't always want to explain.

Expand Your Game: Seals Some games that have been reviewed so far really stand out and for those games they deserve an extra highlight. These seals are those extra highlights for a Kickstarter Seal i would highly recommend backing or seeking out the kickstarter post release. For the Silver Seals i would seek out those games if they meet your style of game. The Golden Seals will be pat of my collection for a long time and i would highly recommend adding them to your collection.
